Slightly Smokey Refried Beans

Ingredients
  • 1 cup cooked black or pinto beans
  • 1/4 cup minced yellow onion
  • 1 large clove garlic,
  • 1/4 tsp smokey salt
  • 1 pinch chili power or as needed
  • 2 tbsp refined coconut oil or as needed
Servings:
Instructions
  1. Add coconut oil to a preheated skillet and sauté onion and garlic until they start to become translucent. Add Smokey salt and chili powder and continue to sauté for another minute or two to allow flavors to infuse. Add beans and mash. Continue to heat until hot. If necessary, add water until you reach the consistency you like.
