The LasagnaAll around the world, food is evolving, and that includes many folks favorite types of comfort food: Italian cuisine. Not exactly known for its lightness, Italian food does have a strong appreciation for vegetables, grains and legumes that makes it a natural choice to explore when one is looking to eat a more plant based diet (or just a delicious, naturally nutritious, incidentally plant based meal). In this class, AmyLeo takes on an additional challenge of removing the olive oil from traditional Italian recipes to make them more nutrient dense without sacrificing richness or flavor using hemp seeds and much more. She’ll show you how marinating can turn tofu into a delicious feta alternative. This class is gluten free, vegan and oil free, with hands on opportunities as desired. Pre-registration is required.
