Greens are all the rage these days, showing up in everything from juice to appetizer spreads to sandwiches and of course, salads. These versatile veggies are popular for good reasons- they’re inexpensive, easy to use, and offer up many vitamins, minerals, fibers and of course, great flavors. Chef AmyLeo will show you many unique and wide-ranging ways to use your greens, as well as how to select, store, wash, stem and prepare a great bunch of greens. In particular, you’ll learn how to greens as a wrap (a great way to avoid gluten and perfect for quick lunches); maximize the flavors in steamed greens; and use greens instead of noodles in lasagna. All plant-based and delicious! This class is vegan and gluten-free and has hands-on opportunities as desired. Pre-registration is required. On the menu:
